Bad news came from the country of Ukraine today. Russian war planes dropped big bombs on a city. The bombs hit a very large printing house. This place made books for kids and schools. Fire burned down the building very fast. Dark smoke filled the sky all day long.
Twelve million books turned into gray ash and dust. Workers could not save any books from the fire. The attack happened right before school starts again. Kids need new books for their classes. Now the empty desks will wait for a long time. People feel very sad about this bad loss.
